DJ Gordovich – El Ritmo Del Gordo
My fellow colleagues Rizzla and Dubbel Dutch turned me onto this strange brand of Venezuelan (though not always) house that has nods towards bubbling, tribal, shitty electro, and in case of the first track, Jammin Gerald (!!!). Super candy raver sounding music with a suspicious kick drum, sometimes taking on Monterrey Gameboy synths. 100% appropriate to drop the TROPICAL HOUSE bomb when talking about this.
The genre name trumps most too.

Interesting…but doesn’t this stuff generally come from Venezuela, or at least originated from there?
i dont know if raptor house originaly is from venezuela but colombian and mexican do some as well now, most of mexican doin it are tribaleros leaving the mexican guaracha (the scratching board instrument not the genre) aside. gordo is one of them.
